It’s no secret that we’ve been more-than-busy the past few months but, while strength in the Edmond/OKC real estate market is great for us in OK, we can’t really begin to feel 100% confident that it will continue until we see consistent signs of a recovery on the national scene.
The good news though, is that according to RISMedia and the NAR, pending home sales (nationally) have risen for the past three months. Furthermore, the numbers in April are not only up over March; they’re actually better than last April’s stats.
Whether or not we’re out of the woods is yet to be determined, but these kinds of numbers are definitely positive indicators of what could be coming and, remember, “when economic recovery comes, home prices will skyrocket.”
