Increase in Home Sales Not Just Local

How's the Market?

Lately, I’ve posted so much positive news about home sales in Central Oklahoma that’s it’s almost gotten boring.  Our statistics have been showing signs of life for the past couple of months, and the market here is still strong.

According the the NAR though, this trend may be more widespread than just the Oklahoma real estate market… pending home sales were up 3% across the nation in March.  Could this be the start of a true recovery?

  1. Ryan, I have been reading through your blog and I have read blogs all around North America. I do believe that the market has picked up considerably. Many areas of the country seem to be selling hand over fist. In Bergen County where I am we are experiencing a large pick up in our market. I think Oklahoma was not a big speculative area as Nevada, Arizona, Southern California and Florida, nor was Bergen County New Jersey. Lets hope it continues!
