Sorry to confuse.. I, of course, was referring to Christmas for the house-junkies, more commonly known as The Parade of Homes.

Only today and tomorrow remain for those of us who can’t get enough of touring the new homes available throughout the metro area, so get out and enjoy what promises to be a beautiful day, and maybe we’ll bump into each other here and there!

It’s amazing how many people I know who really look forward to the annual Parade of Homes, almost like they look forward to Christmas. Whether it’s to enjoy the homes or pick up some decor tips, they REALLY get into this time of year!

Having lived in Oklahoma my whole life, it’s easy to take it for granted and not really appreciate how good we have it here in Oklahoma, but I was recently reminded of that by a few facebook friends.

During ‘The Parade,’ our local builders really pull out all the stops and go above and beyond to show off their talents to us, so get out and enjoy it this week!

Whether you’re a house-junkie like me, a casual looker, or a serious buyer in the market for a new home, the next couple of weeks are designed just for you!

Get out and enjoy the hard work our local builders have put into designing, building, and furnishing their showcase homes for this year’s Parade of Homes, September 26th through October 4th.  You also won’t want to miss the Bricktown Home and Garden Festival to be held at the AT&T Bricktown Ballpark on October 2-4.

My wife and I were among a lucky entourage who spent last evening witnessing style, uniqueness, and technology, all wrapped up in a modern bow, and let me tell you, if you don’t take the time to experience Jeff Click Homes’ entry in the 2008 Parade of Homes, in person, you’re bound to continue that feeling of deja vu as you search for your next Edmond home.

It was a grand affair designed to build the buzz around yet another remarkable home built by Jeff Click Homes, and I can assure you, it did exactly that.  The awards aren’t being doled out just yet, but I’d lay my money on this beauty @ 17412 White Hawk Drive.

The 2008 Parade of Homes runs September 13th through the 21st and each home will be open to the public from 1 to 7pm.  It’s time to load up the family and fill the tank for a few days of fun!
