Who’s To Blame?

Local Stories

As I pointed out yesterday, Brass Brick Homes filed for bankruptcy protection earlier this week.  Now it appears they’re playing the blame game, pointing the finger at their banks.

This situation is far from ideal, and there are more than a few people hurt by it, but is it any surprise that the banks aren’t willing to extend any further credit to an already failing, seemingly mismanaged company?

There is not always a single person or entity to blame. Some things just happen. The blame is so cyclical right now. Buyers blame agents, agents blame banks, banks blame buyers…

Agree..come on. What did they do to you? I can think of a lot of builders who have done the same or worse. Geeze, don’t judge… until your in their shoes. You are a realtor…you would do what you need to do to survive. As far as hurting the buyers… they purchased the home…risking etc. The warranty situation can be taken care of.
